Going into Saturday's women's title match at Wimbledon, there was no question where the champion would hail from this year.
That's because it was an all-Czech battle between Linda Noskova and Karolina Muchova, but only one of them would be heading home a winner.
The 21-year-old had never been past the quarterfinals in a Grand Slam until her run this year at Wimbledon, and she topped her countrywoman in three sets, 6-2, 5-7, 6-3.
While it was obviously a tough loss for Muchova — who stormed to a win in the second set to force a deciding set — she provided a lighthearted moment during the post-match interviews.
